Easily one of my top 10 favorite Heat players of all time, Jason Kapono went from bench warming funny white guy with awesome hair in 2006 to NBA best 3 point shooter in 2007 to overpaid underachiever with the Raps in 2008.
The Raptors called Kapono at 12:01am when free agency opened, and offered the max mid level exception they could - $24 million over 4 years. Since December 29, here are the points Kapono has scored per game: 6,0,0,2,8,2,2,14,8,4,2,0,6,2,8,8. I do think he'd be scoring a lot more for the Heat - they need the punch, but right now the Raps can't be happy given what they are paying him.
Heat career hi-lite, winning last year's 3 point shoot-out and equalling the record for points in a final round - notice how pimpin' Shaq looks - he's like the black Dick Tracy with his yellow fedora and coat.
